Subtle  Mind and loving kindness Unit 5

The video for the subtle mind was very relaxing as all of the others. I have trouble just stopping and listening to the whole video. When I stop my mind and body I fall asleep.  I really feel that we are to busy in this world today.  We are either going to work, going to a function, eating or sleeping. We do not just stop and enjoy what is around us. We need to exercise our mental fitness and help our bodies heal with our minds going deep into the unity consciousness to unite our mind, body and spirit.

  1. I do know how you feel. If I stop moving by body says "Yeah! It's time to sleep". I guess this is not the way for me and I will need to try something else.

    I really like how your blog page looks. The colors are peaceful and the books reflect strengthening the mind. Nicely done!

  2. I definitely know what you mean. It's so difficult sometimes to sit still and not allow thoughts to invade your mind when trying to relax. To prevent myself from falling asleep, I find it best to do these exercises after taking a rest- either in the morning or after a short nap. My Reiki teacher used to tell us to not ignore the importance of sleep. If you're finding the urge to sleep, it's for a reason and shouldn't be ignored. Then you can come back to these exercises later after you've had your rest.
